The Familiar's face

This kind of ancient magic shows itself in many ways,  energy subtly glows in the dark. There are shimmers when it shifts. Magic sneakily changes hue when you look away. 
Thinking, crawling and licking his  failing eyes, this Familiar guards the magic. He is a kind soul, old as the seasons and just as wise.
He sits amongst 4 vessels of his calling, they contain elements of the sea, the air, the earth and the Fell. Before him, his palantir, "Through these Eyes" he can always see clearly.
