Painted Bobby Dabbler Duckling

As promised last year, when I started the duckling clutch, they are now 3. First to hatch was inquisitive Beck Dabbler, followed by his sleepy sibling, Brook Dabbler.
Finally, I am pleased to introduce to you... Bobby Dabbler.
Bobby is the cheeky one. Always the first to jump in and the last to get out and anything in between for that matter.
Here he stands imagining himself as the mighty Drake with great outstretched pinions. 
Now there is that old saying, " Like water off a duck’s back", well it doesn't really apply to Bobby just yet. So, until his feathers replace his fluff, there has to be an element of drip and flap dry. But one day he’ll get there, one day he will have feathers, one day he will have a good quack and one day he will be able to swim upstream. But not today… that will be another day.
Just now Bobby is concentrating on his ambition… which is to grow into his feet!
