Catch of the Day

Scoffer's has a reputation for being a gobbledee gannet but he never eats the fish when he goes "fishing", he mearly admires them from above.
Fishing is for being at peace with the world, half way down the stream, sitting in the middle of the rickety bridge, reading the fishing gazette and just letting the world trickle by.
Of course, Scoffers being Scoffers, food is always close at paw, a flask of nettle tea and a cake to start with, then, later, the stream chilled elder flower wine and as many blackberries as he can be bothered to knock off the overhanging brambles with his fishing rod. These are his best catch of the day.
