Beech Nut Cottage

Beech nut cottage is Sleepy Ed's brand new home. It’s warm and snug, just perfect for a drowsy little mouse.

Tonight is his first night there. Everything is new, at least to him. This home has that ‘new house smell’ and he is very content. Pebble mice do so like to recycle bits and bobs and Ed has managed to coordinate his little socks off. Everything matches his neat woollen dressing gown; the bedding, the carpet, all his accessories, even his reading material fits into the colour scheme. Everything matches and he is jolly pleased.
He is going to enjoy this evening very much indeed and is celebrating with an inaugural, candle lite supper. He has  a little brie, some Cheddar, a grape or two and a nice cheeky merlot. Now the final decision....

He has had one cup of wine… should he have another? After all it is special. Mmmm why not it is a special day, and perhaps just a little more cheese to go with it.
